Masks indoors?

You don’t need a mask if you are drinking a glass of water…

There’s a risk in schools with a CCF that the CCF is the only activity requiring masks; this is undesirable for lots of reasons and pointless, too. (Discussions to be had of course about whether MOD rules on masks apply to CCF training in schools…)

So the commandant continues to post pics on social media of cadets not socially distancing and we are still obliged to wear masks indoors…when will this ever end?

I think the rules are there to give the ATC some moral high ground even though clearly noone follows them.

Nonsense.
The rules are there because we are part of the MOD and mask wearing indoors remains mandatory in the MOD.

Yes its annoying.
But its certainly not for grandstanding.

I’m not so sure. The ACF don’t have to wear them when sat down in lessons (locally at least)

My cynical side says Mystic has a point.

Never hurts when someone agrees, so definitely going to take some credit :grin:

On our side we only require masks “where deemed appropriate”. Examples given are poorly ventilated or confined spaces. If the windows can open or there is an external door, no need for masks.
