Marksman Badges and Assistance With Aiming

In my squadron, certain cadets gained wing marksman badges with the no.8 while using sandbags to support them. Cadets outwith our squadron on the same camp who also used sandbags were stripped of their badges for doing this, is there a rule in the ACPs which prevents people from attaining wing marksman if they’re aided in shooting? If there is, please link me to the passage which explains it, thanks.

Yes, ACTO 44.
It states “Prone Unsupported”, which I’ve always interpreted as no sandbag!

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong…
Several more pages to that image, all the different practices state “Prone Unsupported”.

@donttellhimyourname - i agree with you as would 100s of others.

unsupported is exactly that…no sandbag however there is no definition of this in the ACP…

Do you really need “unsupported” to be defined? It is what it means - no support. A sandbag is support, therefore no sandbag!
