Just wondering if anyone knows the process for applying to be a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet?

Our Wing has just notified Squadrons of the Lord lieutenants request for nominations for 2014. We have been issued with a form the OC has to fill in and send in to Wing HQ.
I imagine its very much of a you will be nominated rather than you requesting the post!
I will be discussing this with the gentleman I will be nominating as there are responsibilities such as mandatory attendances etc. It would be embarrassing if he didn’t know he was being nominated, was accepted and then couldn’t attend when he should!
Our’s is ‘best’ cadet from within the county
