Liveatc.net for all your flight radio comms

I’m probably behind the times here, but i’ve just come across a site called liveatc.net. I received an alert on my iPad for an airfrance flight (which i received via a programme called ‘Flightradar’) when it declared an emergency and diverted to geneva. This intrigued me and I was looking for an airport webcams to start with, but then came across this site where you can listen to the air traffic control at many airports around the world.
I’m just wondering how many of us have used new technology to listen into the world where before you had to be a short distance away to receive traffic on a scanner.

If you do use this regularly or use other online programmes, i’m wondering how you tie this into cadet syllabus training, or is it something you leave on in the background??

Just trying to offer new insights to young people to show its not all about flying and can be about the technology behind it all.
thanks for your replies…
