Leading Cadet Details

Hello…

Ok so I’m training for leading cadet and wanted to know:
Other than the ACPs, are there other guides for the syllabus
What is the format of the exam, especially if you don’t have access to BADER (I’m CCF… Shoot me if you wish)
How hard is it if I’ve completed the workbook, but haven’t read the full ACPs? (or do I actually need to reed the full ACPs?)

Thanks!

Yes.
In fact, most of the old classifications ACPs were retired many years ago.

There are resources on SharePoint that your staff can access for you - ask them if they can visit this page, and send on some of the PowerPoints and guidance notes.

The exam is an online exam through Bader Learn. As CCF, you still get access to this. You use the same account that you use to log in to Cadet Portal - if you don’t have access to this, ask your staff nicely to create an account for you.

The exam is multiple-choice. For each learning outcome, you will get two questions selected at random from a bank. You need to get one of the two right from each learning outcome. So the pass mark is 50%, but you have to get the right 50% right, if that makes sense.

This will very on your perception and general understanding.
There is some discrepancy between the learning outcomes, the notebook, and the exam questions.

Generally, I’d encourage a good understanding of the subject. But remember that it is also an open book exam - use your notes to help you.
