I think at one point they changed the process so you had to chase it manually rather than it being automatically sent out. The problem is we are talking about something from years ago so I can’t fully remember.

No, that was something else. That was because at some point our quality assurance was questioned, as the first class element was technically part of the BTEC but it wasn’t assured well and people weren’t doing the log books. We were supposed to scan them in and keep them in cause we were randomly audited by the provider Pearson I think.

nor are University lecturers - there isn’t a “teaching qualification” requirement to be a lecturer (and that is at level 6)
No, and the point falls down when you realise everything we do is a form of training, which we deliver to young people and the vast majority of it doesn’t have any formal qualification as an educator.

I had a scan in my emails & there something around 2019 re change in awarding body to pearsons so this might have been the requirement from them.

What do schools going back have to do with cadets logging into cadet portal to see the announcement?
I don’t know, but do they get a push notification via MyRAFAC?
The reality is the EPQ takes an academic year - we really should have been signing people up in July - anyone doing it with college would have committed before the summer.

The meeting is on Sept 4th IIRC, if it was the week after it would give us more time to publicise on Squadron.
And yes having the info last term would have been better still.
No - but that does sound like a pretty sensible idea! I never quite understand why they have myRAFAC do a sort of half version of portal. Just move it all into one place would be so much easier…

AFAIK myRAFAC was developed separately by the MoD developer rather than the Bader devs?
