Are individual squadrons able to set up online donation pages like just giving please?
If so, are there any rules that need to be obeyed please and how do we go about it?

If you have a verified Facebook page I think there are tools on there to allow free online donations.
Squadrons per-se are not permitted, but CivComs are permitted on behalf of the squadron. As they are an independent charity, as long as you respect the spirit of charitable giving and your charitable obligations, then you are free to fund-raise as you wish.
There are various schemes and if the squadron CivComs choose to register as a charity in their own right, then schemes like Amazon’s 0.5% of purchases donation become available to you.
Individual cadets can also fund raise through Just Giving and Threaders’ Facebook suggestion is an option too.
