Guess what, money remains tight. Who’d have thunked it?

But approval to recruit 7 new CS posts in Safety and Business critical roles is good.

New CS is excellent but I’d be curious if this figure includes replacement of recently departed staff or if it’s genuinely a headcount increase of 7

Did he say Civil servant or crown servant?

both as separate items

Oooh - going purple…

That looked very purple minded!

Would be better if they weren’t CS (which I thought CAC had hinted at previously?)

No UBAC questions!

I even had pizza

I could have used a beer, but parade night / school day tomorrow

Wow, they’ve done well there. Its virtually impossible to fill currently vacant CS posts elsewhere in the MOD.

providing that doesn’t mean Safety = more restrictions

agreed - as cynical as i have been above, more staff is a good thing

Any updates on Infra?

As a Sqn that has been ‘deployed’ for over 6 months now, comms has gone somewhat quiet on this (Lets concentrate on the next disaster/issue cough…SCD…cough). I realise it is RFCA issue but we pulled the trigger to shoot our foot!!

There was something like 277 Sqn’s that have re-opened.
Wessex RFCA was one of the worst offenders for still having Sqn’s closed (87 I think)

86 Units are still closed, SW region is the worst affected with 39 and the majority of these sit with Wessex RFCA who are the worst offender for outstanding issues.
