I just applied to join my local sqn (2394).
I’d like to know what exactly happens when I join. When do I get my uniform, and when can I take the 1st class exam?
I have taken a look at the 1st class exam and am pretty confident I could pass it now.

Out of interest which first class exam were you looking at? There’s no official exam as such at that level, but you will need to complete a workbook prior to progressing to the leading cadet syllabus.
As for uniform, three months is the average length of time you need to wait, but some sqns have uniform to issue you before then & some you may have to wait longer if they don’t have your size in stock.
