I too have tried the spreadsheet solution, worked fine until one particular fieldcraft weekend at sector and suddenly all the cadets discovered they needed to borrow most of the kit list the parade night before (despite reminders on preceding weeks). Sod’s law it’s the one night I’m not there, the NCOs get flustered and take the ‘just get it done and worry about the admin next week approach’. Still not sure where all the kit went and that was about a decade ago.
