I came across this site by accident. Can’t understand why it’s not that well known?
Anyway I hope to be able to enter into some of the forum topics soon.
I return to the ATC after a break of some 25 years from being a CWO in C&E Yorks Wing and now helping out at my son’s Squadron in the south.
Spent my years in-between in cold places, hot places, jungles and the Arctic and have a few qualifications that hopefully will be of use somewhere.
If I may be so bold as to ask one question to start with, what badges are allowed to be worn in ATC uniform? I know this sounds a crass question, but I would like to know where I stand before applying to be a member of uniformed staff. I seem to be getting a few conflicting answers from my Sqn staff and Wing.
All assistance appreciated.
Thanks everyone. Really appreciated.
I had seen Parachute badges before on an Officer in my wing but needed to confirm if AACC was accepted.
Thank you again.

Seem to recall something about submitting evidence to wing HQ.
Hello MattB. Thank you for this. I guess you mean Course Cert, Course Report; etc?
If wings can be worn, so can the red on black All Arms Dagger. I have seen it on 1 serving RAF set of blues. As long as your not cracking the green 3 brigade flash and your Green Lid your fine.

Hello MattB. Thank you for this. I guess you mean Course Cert, Course Report; etc?
I believe so… tbh, anything will probably do - I’d doubt that your Wg HQ would argue the point too much!
