Internal server error following unit transfer

I recently transferred unit from my CCF(RAF) to ATC and less than 10 minutes after getting the email, when I log into cadet portal I get an error (see below).

I can still sign into my Microsoft account, get on SharePoint, and other things, and I can still get on Bader learn.

What I’m presuming (I’m asking if this sounds reasonable) is that my account hasn’t synced in Microsoft to my new unit and cadet portal rejects it. When I look at my name in Microsoft it still has my old unit number. So should I be able to get on when the details are synced to Entra overnight?

Give it 24 hours, and if it’s still broken, then you may need to get one of your staff to look at it. There’s an overnight sync that sometimes fixes word problems.

Just checked this morning, my Microsoft account name has changed to reflect my unit but I still get the 500 error on cadet portal. I’ve tried contacting helpdesk but they are really helpful every time a cadet contacts them.

You may need to ask your new staff to email helpdesk on your behalf.

Yeah they have emailed helpdesk now and I can at least get onto cadet portal now but I’m in a weird limbo state where I sometimes show up as ATC sometimes my CCF
