I need my 1s for a service on Monday and since I was promoted very recently, they have the wrong rank. I don’t think I’ll be able to get them done before then. Is it wildly unacceptable to wear incorrectly ranked uniform?
Nope I did it for one parade and I’ve known plenty of others do it as well.
At the end of the day your cadets know who you are and it’s not like your an officer with SNCO rankslides on or visa versa.

No, in fact I did it myself for a biennial inspection a couple of years back when I got a slightly unexpected promotion a week before. And the inspecting officer was an AVM…
