Wing doesn’t do anything for us.
Region doesn’t do anything for us.
To all intents and purposes we’re self contained, so the rest can go and swivel.

True, once you’re sitting on the coach, it doesn’t matter much. Still, reducing travel distances and times is the right thing for best use of resources (volunteer time) and reducing environmental impact.
Arguably though, running 5 region field days (as an example) will use a lot less volunteering time than running 6. Even if some squadrons/wings now have to get a slightly longer coach ride.
Anything North of the M4 is North…

Quite a lot of it looks like ‘this works for the ACF…’ I agree about the analogy between CCF(A) and ACF; and I suspect we will see the TEST staff supporting ATC in the same way the CTTs also support ACF. Similarly with the handling of non-public funds which could well go via RFCAs.
A lot of this is TBC. What you read into the letter seems to depend greatly on what previous opinions you bring to the table.

@JoeBloggs where on SharePoint was the letter in your opening post? I’m trying to find it to link. A search just brings me up with Wales & West. I find it odd that a big change was not in the announcements section on the main front page as you log in?
I am trying to look on my phone though, so that could be my downfall.
It’s not you, it’s our rather poor comms process.

As @GrandMaster_Flush above said, this isn’t in the national announcements. I only found it by looking in the W&W announcements/docs.
Shame that effective communication is a key part of effective change management then!

Planning the initial start up meeting prior to the pre committee phase of stage one of ASTRA wont happen on it’s own you know!
As did I, but I couldn’t find anything useful bar aforementioned W&W post. I haven’t found the search function very accurate previously though.

Sorry, my point was poorly worded. I meant, is there a national non w&w version. Nothing against W&W just wanted to see if anything shared directly from HQAC
