Think we’re up to about half of our attending cadets.
We’ve got a load more on the books who said they’d come back when we open up but haven’t yet done so - the CO is reluctant to remove them for some reason - and they have not yet returned any forms.
We’ve sent them twice electronically and had zero responses. Sent out paper copies and they are starting to come back, slowly. It’s nice to be able to shred the originals after scanning though.
Depends what they regard as “open”, where we are currently isn’t really open and it’s the summer hols. I’m still failing to get overly excited about this. I see it as “softly, softly catchy monkey”, rather than stomping around, with in effect bullying/threatening emails. We’ve got cadets who said they’ll be back, still to be seen, but I’m not getting bothered until the end of next month, when they know what their schooling is going to be like for the coming year. Before we broke up the thinking was 2-3 years before things approach the “old days”, dependent on the DfE/exam boards not chucking random/ad hoc changes into the mix.
I think HQAC etc need to fully understand who they are here for and why they have the jobs they do. You can’t treat people like pawns in some admin process when they do something completely voluntarily. Well you can, if you want to discourage them.
Just received some 3822As back but where do we put them in SMS cadet record. There is a place for files so I take it we just put them in there. Anyone got any information on this.
An education health care plan is specific for children that have additional needs. The parents would know if they have one as there would be regular reviews.
A child that does not have a education health care plan, and never had may not fully know or understand because it would be irrelevant for them.
I just read it again and it’s very loose. But there is absolutely nothing that says cadets will be suspended if not done. Just said that OCs may recommend to the WExO that they should be suspended. Doesn’t even say they have too
