Hi… Does anyone have any experience of how long it will take for a new CI to be approved as a probationer staff member by HQAC.

When I applied a few years back it was ~3 months from handing in forms to being granted an in.
I don’t think much has changed since, if anything the covid situation may have made it worse, though there’s an acknowledgment that it’s not all HQAC delays.

We have just had a new CI join our Squadron and it has taken c4 months for the paperwork to be processed and the DBS to be returned to the individual.
