HQAC has (at last) a new media web journalist/press officer, so if you see any errors or updates required in the Air Cadets website, they can now be actioned.
I have already submitted several suggestions/corrections relating to shooting.
Had a quick reply too.
POC is via the HQAC MC Head.
might have to tell them about this page . . . .

Ha ha! Details passed on.
Just pointed out some more errors…
It would seem that there are technical issues, so only limited input/amendments can be made; Air Cmd hold the budget for the “fix” - well, they also need to sort out the RAF website, lots of pages/unit information/aircraft types, wildly out of date…
Might be leaving them on there as fake Intel for foreign forces
The war of media. Powerful stuff.
If it is to show gross ineptitude with regard to the RAF site, then they are doing a good job.
For example:
Here
"Currently based at Brize Norton are the VC10s of 101 Squadron, the TriStar K1, KC1, C2 and C2As of 216 Squadron,
…& also here.
Yet this page confirms the last flight of the VC10:
The Tristar is also out of service.
C130s are no longer at Lyneham, etc, etc.
Lots more examples…
Any foreign forces duped aren’t any sort of threat.
If it was adjusted to reflect exactly what the RAF has, then it would beg questions of the viability of the RAF as a stand alone force.
