How do you remove yourself and content from this site?

I don’t believe it’s right for your posts to be removed. Without them the posts that follow will make no sense. Even if your account was closed, the posts will (or at least should) remain.

Mr Mason, what could be deemed as childish is your assumption.
I ask the question as there is not button or option to remove oneself if they so choose, regardless of timing.
Yes the current situation has made me revisit why I initially started to use this site. Back then I wanted to do was ask questions and pass on fact. I never wanted to engage in opinion, which I find myself doing more of. So, easy answer is to remove the temptation and lurk as a guest. Simples.
So that’s a yes then? 
Im sure the Admins can close your account. Not sure about removing all content, but I’m sure one will be by to help soon.
