Used to, but not now. Both the cadets will have access to the same opportunities, so pay the same.

Yes, but only when itā€™s more than 2. We had 3 come in from one family in one intake recently. CO and treasurer agreed that they could have a ā€œbuy 2 get the 3rd freeā€ deal.

I fully understand the notion of everyone paying their way, but we need to be realistic.

Yes, currently:

  • Child 1 = Ā£7 pm
  • Child 2 = Ā£6 pm
  • Child 3 = Ā£5 pm

Not particular difficult to administer. When one sibling leaves, we send the parent a new bank standing order form with the adjusted monthly cost.

All cadets get first month free with the bank SO form post-dated in the joining pack. Might seem cheap compared to others here, because the squadron has sufficient numbers to share the cost of fixed utilities etc., no SOV to pay for and we do fundraising events.

Yep, normally Ā£10pm, drops down to Ā£8pm (each) if you are or have a sibling.

We charge 50% for a second sibling to keep things affordable (our standard rate is Ā£20pm). I canā€™t remember the last time we had 3 from the same family - and our committeeā€™s changed since then - so not sure how they would approach that scenario.
