HOME TO DUTY - 'Voluntary Contribution'

Just trawled ACP300 but can find not mention of a voluntary contribution to be deducted from Home to Duty payments. I understand it is deducted per journey and is a fixed number of miles, but I cannot find it. Any clues chumrades?

First 6 miles of the return journey total.

So if your return journey is 10 miles you claim 10 on the form, but they will only pay 4.

4 miles at 25p per mile is £1.00.

Appreciate you didnt need it in full, but others might.

ACP 300 Page 104 par 3.

  1. Personal Contribution. MOD has directed that wef 1 May 11 a Personal Contribution (PC) must be applied to all HTD motor mileage claims. Accordingly, wef 1 May 11 the PC is 6 miles return. There is no requirement for claimants to deduct the PC on Form 7101 as this will completed by HQ RAFAC Accounts prior to payment.
