Hello everyone,

I’ve joined this Forum as I found it while researching a ceremonial issue but I’m quite happy to lurk here and soak up the knowledge of my Light Blue brothers! Let’s admit it, when it comes to Cadet ceremonial, the ATC and CCF (RAF) often do it best!

I’m from an Army background but have recently found myself in a Tri-Service Cadet environment so I’ve naturally come to you guys for a steer on how the Air Cadets operate in detail. Of course, you can always read publications but advice from “the horses mouth” is always extremely useful!

I’d say that as far as ceremonial the Sea Cadet Corps have got us beat. At least at a national level.

Sorry in our city its air cadets all the way… :slight_smile:
Army cadets look like sacks of potatoes with a belt in the middle
And the sea cadets…let’s not go there! :ohmy:

CCF would be the closest analogy, yes, although we are community based.
