WO on parade with a pace stick and one one parade with Eagles on the arms of this no1 jacket. Officers looking good with swords, a new thing in the corps.

The WO with eagles can be forgiven because of the terrible wording of our Dress Regulations.

Clearly the intention is to say that WWO/RWO/CACWO etc wear Officer & WO pattern No1; whereas ‘standard’ Warrant Officers wear the Airman’s style jacket. But as per that poor wording all standard WOs should be wearing eagles. Obviously that’s not correct.
Similar bad wording says in one para that all WOs wear the WO SD Hat, and in another para that ‘standard’ WOs wear an airman’s hat with WO badge.
