GMW Stolen Minibus

:warning::sos: HELP US FIND OUR MINIBUS! :sos::warning:

Last night one of our Greater Manchester Wing branded Minibus’ were stolen from a locked compound at our Wing Activity Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne.

It is a Ford Transit 15 Seat Minibus that has Greater Manchester Wing and Royal Air Force Air Cadet decals on. Registration number LG07 STX.

There may be some damage to a window (which was used to gain entry) and damage to the front of the vehicle (as the locked gates were rammed for exit).

Greater Manchester Police have been notified. If you see our beloved Minibus, please call 101 immediately and inform the police of its location.

We are desperate to get this vital asset back to being used for the many young people we support within Greater Manchester.

Please share this post on your socials ‘publically’ so we can get this message far and wide.

Disgusting.
Sorry to hear this.

Sadly its probably either burned out, a total wreck or in a shipping container to Europe by now.

Shocking, I hope you manage to recover it.

Maybe SOVs should have a cut-out switch and trackers installed.

Dont suggest anything else.mandatory…

But I would always advocate a steering lock

WHATEVER YOU DO Don’t accept an offer of a re-purposed Sprinter crew bus from the local police force to replace a burnt-out SOV

There are some scumbags in this world.

Although, having had a look at the MOT history, I would guess the scumbags have inadvertently done some good…
