Believe this is on the agenda as long as your Sqn has an approved instructor
It doesnāt list those numbers in training, those are awards of that grade.
It doesnāt include 2017 or 2016.
One VGS does account for 50-65% of those staff cadet awards listed.
Wonder how difficult they can make it for a staff member to become an āapproved instructorā?
How much do you predict the 0.0024% will shoot up by before the current cohort age out?
Or not even the inverted bit, depending on how realistic the gameās default settings are.
There is no requirement to complete gold part 2 to progress.
Must be why we keep getting emails asking for any CFAV with pilot quals to make themselves knownā¦
Does managing to complete the redbull air race on FSX without crashing count?
A searing indictment of a man who failed the people he was meant to be working to help. Step forward the main man yes you Middleton!
Really? You think the PowerPoints need a SME to teach them? Itās basically the same stuff thatās taught at first class and leading.
Youāre quite right, but it helps with delivery if the cadet or staff member teaching has a special interest in the aviation subjects.
Most staff I know donāt know the content of PoF well enough to teach leading. The leading PowerPoints donāt make it any easier.
Seriously?
Seriously. How can they be expected to when the ppt is awful and most were either taught it decades ago or never properly taught it?
Personally, I think the parts needed to needed to teach the ground school pretty self explanatory, and not that bad at all.
I donāt suppose the principles have changed much over the decadesā¦
Yes, seriously. I would sadly tend to agree.
Of course, they could mug up in advance - itās hardly difficult at Part 2.
Fair enough. Though itās not Part 2 now is it? We have adopted Leading/Senior/Master etc now.
Neither is wrong. Both āProficiency Part 2ā and āLeadingā are, and have always been, correct terminology in the CCF (and I believe in the ATC too). The only difference was we preferred the former, and the ATC the latter.
Iāve never heard āLeading Cadetā used as a ārankā, though, even though we have Leading Hands in the RN section.
They did used to be seen as two separate enteritis. This was changed earlier this year to bring the CCF inline with the ATC. IBN 47 - 2020 covers this in detail!
Ok.i thought we had dropped the Part 1/2 and Advanced terminology now - but Iām probably wrong. There would certainly be confusion over when they get the Advanced badge - as the old CCF syllabus says after one senior/master exam but now weāve moved to the same classification system as ATC they need to take 3.
