I was surprised today to find that I have been invited back to Air Cadet Central. I was a member until one day in February 2012 when I discovered I was “banned”. I tried to contact you but to no avail. I trust that my “ban” was a technical error, as I don’t think I did anything bad. Anyway, I am glad to be back.
I was pleased this summer to visit my old squadron, 115 at Peterborough. I can tell you more about that visit later (if I do not get banned this time!)

I imagine it was a technical error. At the time on the old board we had a lot of problems with spammers, so the mods then took to banning the spammers by IP addresses, which I think caused a lot of innocent people with the same IP addresses to be banned too! We don’t do that anymore (you’ll be glad to know), so sorry about that and welcome back!

Yes, same username. I suppose I am still “banned”. I made some posts about trying to find a Lincoln pilot from Upwood who was so good to us cadets in 115 in the 1950s!

I have just found my old posts (Chipmunk and F/L Stephens) by Googling directly “aircadetcentral”. Will the old site and the new beta site be merged, or should we repost our stuff from the old site?
