Can I achieve the VHF/UHF operator certificate at my squadron or do I have to go on a course?
If you can get the relevent instruction and assessments etc then you can do it on your sqn.
Get ACP44 and ACP45.
Read them, get some practical experience talking on a radio and you will be ready.
