This is always a tough fixture for me as a United fan with a soft spot for Soton having lived there for four years but tonight is rather amusing don’t you think @AlexCorbin?

I’m actually glad I don’t have BT and had a Teams meeting to be in :man_facepalming:

Alex Jankewitz just played his last game

Southampton certainly love a 9-0 don’t they :joy:

Us lot don’t do things in half measures down here… Well they do in Portsmouth but I guess that’s what happened when your mum and sister are the same person.

I feel sorry for Ralph… Basically his whole defence are injured and he’s left with bratty youth team players who threaten to quit for not playing and then get sent off in 79 seconds when they do

Normal service resumed at Newcastle after Saturdays win at Everton. Bruceball was back in vogue on Tuesday night. Ive seen under 9 teams with better tactics than Bruce employs. Then again he always said he “doesnt do tactics” .What a cabbage he is.

Looking for good away days in the championship next season it would appear

As long as Bournemouth don’t go up

Not too much chance sadly

Getting an away ticket for Bournemouth is hard, but I have managed it once

Linesman gives offside for a tight call, exactly what VAR was brought in for.

VAR gets it wrong :expressionless:

If you think the Cadet Forces Warrant thread was emotional you should see some of the Football Forums this morning!

People losing their mind I bet cause some teams want mid week football

Have you seen Gary Neville’s rant? He’s absolutely spot on.

Also- think of how it is going effect the premier league as a competition though. If UEFA allow premier league teams into the champions league, 7th to 10th will be playing for champions league places if those “top six” do all indeed finish in the top six.

Those “top six” clubs are going to be resting players in the premier league to make sure players are fit for the European Super league, because no matter where they finish in the league that season they will be guaranteed European football the season after.

If UEFA / FIFA / PL go through with their threat to ban players who participate in any other domestic or international competitions (which they should), then the ESL will fade away very quickly

I’ve seen a few commenters who are discussed by the news and even one who was disguised by it…

The fact that he’s so upset about it cheers me up no end, I’ve had an intense dislike for him since 2004.

The Champions League died yesterday, I’d have good money on PSG joining, the German Clubs are less likely due to the way they are structured but Bayern Munich have to be thinking about it, possibly Zenit St Petersburg?

The Champions League and the Europa League are badly flawed, I’m not saying this is the answer but I can understand it.

It’s the death of the League Cup, I just hope that it doesn’t affect the FA Cup, which I’m probably more in love with than the League.

Will never happen, you take those 6 Clubs out of the Premier League and the brand value goes through the floor. The International ban for players would cause even bigger issues, could you imagine telling non-European countries that their star players are ineligible due to a row over domestic competition?

If all fans follow the views of all supporters’ groups, at the moment it looks like nobody would want to go and watch any of these matches anyway. No fans at the games == no money

The money is the TV rights, not the ticket sales. That’s why German Clubs can afford Seasons tickets for less than €200 a year.

The clubs concerned are all Global Brands, the money will still be there. The fans might not be happy, but can you really see Liverpool v Barcelona not being a sell out?
