We have XBox with Microsoft Flight Simulator on Sqn.
Has anyone managed to create a Tower setup so that someone could observe the runway with cadets taking off and flying in formation…?
If you have, how.?

Just and add in has anyone tried linking Xbox’s between sqns to doing any formation flying stuff?

We have yet to dabble with MSFS of any vintage. Only ever used flightgear - this has both tower view and multiplayer function. Main motivator for this was it is free (opensource) and functional and not too fussy what GPU you have.
I noticed a post from @W3_lsh on flightsims recently, signposted to hangout in the “what are you playing?” thread - is it worth keeping a thread just for flightsims? The other thread is generic chatter on all things gaming.
Agreed - as it is a slightly different topic.
