Flight Sim - Training/Program Materials

What do people think of the Meta Quest 3 for an augmented reality flight sim? Should be able to get it to put instruments over blank panels, but allow cadets to see their hands etc?

would that really be necessary?

If you have a an actual cockpit setup surely it would be just adjusting the perspective so the instruments ‘appear’ to be where the panel is?

From the online videos i’ve seen it more about making existing panel setups visible in the AR setup than virtual panels in the headset.

keeping fingers crossed for some black friday/cyber monday deals on the quest 3 at the end of the month to give it a try. Seen some good reviews on the quest 3 on some of the sim forums already and should be a big upgrade from my rift s by all accounts :crossed_fingers:
