Sincerely I wish you the best of luck. Perhaps you could keep some kind of log on here as to how you find using them, to inform others considering the same?

I pumped up 3 air rifles last night in preparation for range evening on Mon. That had to have been the equivalent of a park run!

Why not go for it?

Just “pre-registered" for a UTMB event!

Disnivel of 1200m; just like the race in the Andes from May but over a shorter distance.

Milestone day: >5% starting weight loss hit as of weigh-in on the morning of Day 17.

91.3kg → 86kg, or roughly 12lbs down in old money.

On course to hit my target weight in 4-5 months.

I lost 10lbs since Xmas.. and now it won’t shift any more. I hate my ability to not lose weight

When anyone first starts losing weight, much of that weight comes from the body flushing out water. When the water loss stops, the rate of loss slows down.

Stick at it and you’ll probably have some days coming up where the weight suddenly plummets.

9lbs week one

Initial fear of needles but doesn’t hurt even a little bit

Felt a bit sick a couple of days along with headaches but gone once water drunk

Mainly just not really hungry, honestly worlds apart from feeling like I wanted to snack all the time and this is just week one!

9lbs in 1 week is strong. Keep an eye on your electrolytes (particularly sodium & magnesium); this may be one of the issues with headaches, and the magnesium will also help with digestion.

So have just completed Start Strong 1 with Gymproluxe

I’m super unfit, nothing most of you probably didn’t realise

Just to show you that we all go through plateaus and gain/loss noise, here’s my latest graph.

That’s why I love MacroFactor.

It shows you scale weight versus actual weight and cuts out all that noise.

How does that work?

To be fair, I can see all that data with my scales. I’m just tracking down to mid-70s (kg) as that’s where I know I have a chance of a sub-20 minute 5k.

Science.

Is it free?

Apart from the relevant university degree to become a professional scientist, yes science is free. Myth busters told me all I have to do to make it science is write it down

Well, judging by some of your posts in the ‘What are you eating thread’ ……I may have found the reason for that!

No, but it’s probably amazing value if you want it to work first time.

2 weeks’ free trial for you to see if you like it, if memory serves.

This is what my scales tell me.

Goes without saying to take it with a pinch of salt and look at trends rather than individual data points, but if you’re a data nerd like me it’s interesting.
