Tommorow is my first day and I feel unprepared. Is there anything specific that I need to bring? Also if there’s any good advice or things I should know then I would really appreciate that.
Turn up and enjoy yourself.

Bring a notepad is usually a good idea but what they do on the first day varies from sqn to sqn. Some money for the canteen as well if you want
It will be fine, go in with enthusiasm.
Just remember the first 3 to 6 months can be a slow burn but then you unlock a ton of activities.

You might find it is quite classroom based at first.
There’s quite a lot of information for instructors to get across in the first few weeks. And staff need to start cadets on drill and uniform care.
But as @AlexCorbin says stick with it and it gets more interesting.
There is an Air Cadet Induction Notebook as well, not all Squadrons use it but it is quite useful.
