I hope we have all had a good bank holiday weekend, I’ve managed to have some time off from both work and cadets…rare I know!
Anyway, I was trundling through AP1358C and noticed this patch? In what scenario would someone wear this? I am one of the mentioned healthcare professionals authorised to wear it so now I am curious as to when I would be expected to wear it.

It’s designed for mass events where you have a proper Medical Team allocated and in place and many people present who are unlikely to know who individuals are.
The best example is RIAT.
“major events”, so events with large numbers of personnel requiring a team of first aiders. I would imagine a large parade might count, but moreso the likes of RIAT probably, maybe training weekends, large camps with nominated first aiders…
At those kinds of events it may be detailed by IC Med.
