First aid kits

Anyone know if there’s any mandated contents for squadron first aid kits?

For normal squadron requirements they just need to meet the normal HSE requirements. Should normally meet BS 8599.

Remember though that’s the minimum required. Most of the ‘standard’ kits are a bit crap. It’s worth supplementing them with extras depending on your use case. For example, I’ll always add a load of extra Elastoplast plasters or various types. Just because that’s the most common use, and the Elastoplast ones are great! You might want to add things like burn gel packs too for canteen areas. (Remembering of course that cold water is better than gel packs, but still!)
