My Daughter has recently joined cadets and prefers wearing trousers as this is what she wears all the time, can she wear trousers at cadets?
The current rules say Yes, i let my female cadets choose which they wear and normally issue both on initial kitting.

- Trousers. Only the Service issue No 2 SD trousers are to be worn. They are to be worn with pressed in creases front and back, extending the full length
of each leg. Unless otherwise ordered, they may be worn throughout the year at the individual’s discretion. Females may elect to wear male pattern No2 SD
trousers on grounds of better fit and/or comfort
