Someone was theorising on a podcast the other day that Lance Stroll will retire for the record of “most races entered” because Daddy will just keep finding Formula 1 until he wins something.
Interesting move by Alonso and personally a shame, I wanted Hulkenberg to get the drive.

So does Piastri go to McLaren? It looks like thats what he wants. Would Alpine be willing to take Daniel Riccardo as part of a deal to end their claim to Piastri?
Or do Alpine go for Alex Albon?

Danny Ric could possibly end up in McLarens formulae team, they only said he was contracted to them not in a F1 seat.
I don’t get why Ric would go back to what is essentially the team he abruptly left. They’ve rebadged, but it’s still Renault underneath the new paint. He’s burnt his bridges, would they even want him back?

If it’s his best shot at a half decent seat he might not have a real choice and if they want a decent driver the options aren’t endless. Although Ocon has enough experience if they could find another rookie.

Rumours of Gasly to Alpine are interesting, would make sense since he’s never gonna get a Red Bill drive again and 2 French drivers in the French team would be fitting.
