To be fair, Jämtlands is a rather large county and Sveg is probably the largest town in the county besides its capital, Östersund. And its only got 2500ish people living there…

The UK song was technically very well sung - but it was a very “safe” song, nowhere near what seems to be the required “edginess” for Eurovision.
I still think the best for quite a while was Lordi:
"…the lead singer, Mr Lordi, stated before the final that the only planned changes were that “We’ll scream louder. And turn the amps up.”
