EASP Aim

Does anyone know what sort of text should be written as the aim of an EASP (or RASP)?

It was made clear to us on the ECO course that the aim should be the aim of the EASP, not the aim of the exercise but all of the documentation (eg the publication-formerly-known-as-PAM21C) just says “state the aim of the EASP (standard)” without actually stating the standard, and our SATT hasn’t put up any example documentation yet.

Surely the aim is to provide a comprehensive exercise action safety plan?

Well quite.

It’s just the wording that they were looking for that I wanted! After all, you’d have thought that the title should give enough detail on the aim, but apparently it needs its own paragraph!

I looked at EASPs that we have submitted and the writers seem to do both - something like this:

Thanks - that’s excellent
