I hope you challenged this for (a) internal review, then if necessary, a complaint to the ICO. I did this against the Home Office & was about 75% successful with my ICO complaint.
It wasn’t my FOI request, and didn’t think that the process could be appealed by any one other than the originator?
I do wish I’d have spoken up, though I suspect that I may not have been my old Wing Commanders favourite person!
Hmmm, as far as the FoI review goes, that is down to the individual. However, if you were aware of what seemed to be deliberate concealment relating to the FoI circumstances, I would suggest that a “whistle-blowing” complaint would be appropriate. Of course, the complaint would have to be linked to an alleged breach of law (under the FoI Act).
