DBS Requirements

I would’ve sworn that I saw something in policy (ACPs or an announcement) along the lines of external DBS is suitable for the RAFAC as long as it’s within X amount of time etc…

But, for the life of me, I can’t find it… Perhaps it was something from a dream after too many pints…

ACP 4, Page 8-5 “19. Portability of criminal records checks.”

Admin can close this unless it warrants a discussion.

I’ve seen it before and know that it’s something like it being within 6 months and you can show it as valid.

If you can post the exact timescales and requirements for future reference, it would be muchos appreciado.

Criminal record checks made outside the MOD are portable into the RAFAC where the individual:
a. Provides an original disclosure certificate that is less than 6 months old and involves the same level of checks, ie child workforce to enhanced level;
