CTC/CRB after resignation

Hi All,

I apologise if this has been brought up before but I’ve not used the forum in a while.

I have recently resigned from the ACO and will be joining up again in a few weeks after some problems with transfers.

My question is when I join back up will my CTC and CRB still be valid or do I need to reapply again?

Many thanks in advance!

It depends how long ago you resigned. Up to 6 months should be ok, but anything over will need a new CRB I suspect.

Not sure on the CTC though?

What’s the gap?

Weeks?/Months?

Are they allowing your service from the following day of your original resignation?

If you have resigned and rejoin you must redo DBS.
CTC also expires the moment you are not a member of the ATC- although DVA d not know you have left so in reality it carries on.

Oh and you now have to interviewed and a written report sent to HQACO (for CI’s)

Some one I know just did this…

We are only talking a matter of weeks between the resignation and the new application.

There will probably be a gap of service on paper.

I doubt your paperwork will have made it to HQAC. If your Wing is on the ball, they will just retract the resignation and put a transfer form in.
