Crash Landing

It looks as if the right undercarriage failed on landing, inducing a roll to the right, snapping the wing and the left wing gained more lift for a roll-over. Whether the landing was heavy, inducing a failure, which will come out later.

Don’t think I’ve ever ended up upside down and missing a wing, trying to cross the road to Waitrose…

That may depend on the cause of the crash?

The content in the link does say that any such payment doesn’t affect their rights - & Delta would have to include a waiver / legal contract to prevent further claim(s).

I am not suggesting it is linked to the POTUS attitude, but planes are falling out of sky a lot in the USA this year…

Private aircraft, reported an open door, either operator error or mechanical failure, nothing to do with the FAA unless maintenance violations are involved.
