Contents insurance

I am very new here.
Have been roped into being the treasurer of the recently formed civcom after not having a civcom for nearly 6 years.

It has been brought to my attention that we have no contents insurance.

We are only a little Sqn, with only the basics, computer, TV screen etc.

I am pretty risk averse and the thought of having no insurance is a no from me!

So who do you use for contents insurance please? As we havent had any for a long time, and a new OC, they have no idea who was used previously.

Hi,

We use Everywhen. Has content insurance specially for non-public service funds.

Details of the RAFAC-negotiated insurance scheme is in ACP300 on page 37 and 38.

Does that include contents insurance?
I thought that one was just liability etc.

Are you thinking of the MOD indemnity that’s basically “we don’t have insurance, but trust me bro we’re good for it”?

There’s a contents policy and option to add trustee indemnity insurance.
