Command Exercises

Does anyone have any ideas for command exercises that require two teams to work together and communicate with each other? I have some ideas but they mostly pit the teams against each other. If possible I would like to get them communication and have some of them taking charge of the teams!

Ideally something that would last all parade night or two shorter exercises broken up by canteen.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Not a command task as such but: Lego + Radio.

Have 2 teams each in a different room, each team has a Lego kit and a radio, along with the other teams instructions, taking turns each team will describe the instructions to build the model to the other team via the radio. The aim is for both teams to work together to build their models, the radio adds a layer of complexity in terms of communications, as does being in separate rooms. You should limit each team to a 10 second radio message each time (or whatever limit you want).

I actually love the thought of that. That’s brilliant.

I really like the sound of that thanks!

Looking for something just like this for a parade night, thanks!
