Has anyone used CollectEco before? Seems like a pretty simple win - ask for furniture, and then some free furniture turns up.
Not Collect Eco specifically, but i used to monitor the local council office surplus and freecycle bulletins.
Never found anything that we needed, but there was plenty on there that could have useful to someone. So i would say worth a look.
We have asked for some stuff quite recently. It’s mostly Bristol based, but they do work nationwide. You submit a ‘wish list’ of things you want, and then when the items are available within around an hours drive of you they’ll email you to see if you want it.
You then pick it up or I think they can arrange delivery for a fee.
Haven’t had anything suitable come back yet, but i’ll keep people updated if and when we do.
