Closure of 2523 sqn

I think it was just wrong time wrong place. The Squadron was dependant on the secondary school for accomodation. The academy changed hands and they have cleared all evening clubs. The ACF went the same way.

The ACF were housed within a different school, although same academy - who also were pleased to welcome 2523, and for over 6 months proved it a successful formula… and were sad to see them close.

The closure of the ACF was a totally separate issue, due to staffing in the local area.

At the time, 2523 had three officers, an SNCO candidate, 5 CI’s and a functioning civ-com.
