Is there an acp or similar that outlines the process for Cadets to go through their classifications?
Ie how the first class syllabus works, what they need to evidence (ie log book) how long it should be between levels etc.

Sound like you’re looking for ACTO19 and 20.
Covers the kind of things in your question.
It can be helpful sometimes to look at ACP000 and ACTO000 (or any of ACXXX 000 documents) and just see if any of the document titles sounds vaguely relevant when you’re beginning a search for something.
So I looked for those documents….
The acto 19 doesn’t appear to have been updated recently. It is my understanding that the merit and distinction sections in the logbook, for example, are no longer required because the resultant b tech does not exist.
Also, I can’t find any documentation where it talks about how long is needed between classifications? It does talk about how old you have to be for one and how long you should have been in before you get to master.
But that’s all I can find
Yeah there’s definitely timeline guidance in 20. Along with a recommendation of not testing all subjects at once, instead opting for “learn one, test one”.
Not sure what you want regarding 1st class though, based on your reply.
I would like to find the regulations that say “ to become a first class cadet, Cadets have to do the following…”. Whilst it talks about the syllabus (subjects) it does not explicitly say anything about evidence required…
From what I can find there is information about the logbook but this information appears to be very out of date.
I am sure when I started, I asked on here and there are some squadrons that don’t even use the logbook.
There are of course other qualifications and blue badges that do not require any form of writing component (space, for example)
There are workbooks for space.
Yes, only have to complete them if you want to work up to the btec… at least that what I’ve was told on the training course
I’ve heard the same thing said about the 1st class cadet workbook.
Well, the table is in ACTO 001 and the content is on the training hub. The How To Guide is in Key Documents.
It’s stated in multiple places that the book is to be used for assessment, the training hub page for first class notes some exceptions where topics are recorded and/or assessed separately.
