Well if you think about it logically the ATC is a hobby, so why would you not do your hobby due to Christmas?
I had a pub based planning meeting on the 28th with my adj, trg off & adv trg off and I have a staff meeting booked for 3rd Jan with the Gadgets starting back on the 7th.
I got an e-mail at 5am about a staff meeting.
Not even I’m that bonkers.
lol i doubt they know what kit we have now let alone the numbers to consider getting it written off!
it is the CWC (through the CO) who have asked me to go through the kit, as they have asigned funds for replacing what doesnt work, but need to know what is in need of replacing in the first place!

in the four years i have been Sqn Radio Officer i have purchased new and thrown out old kit and not once been asked to adjust the inventory/property book…not to mention other items of kit around Sqn with i have introduced!
My Sqn Property book is a spreadsheet which lists all the items within the buildings. It lists the “Public Items” (those issued by parent station and on the inventory) and the “Non-Public Items” (those purchased by the Sqn). Its simple and it gets changed when we buy or bin items!
