I saw them, even though they weren’t scheduled to come over my way! Didn’t get a snap though

Was some chatter that they might use NATO resources such as the new Franco-German fleet or the Dutch.
I think trying to have a single supplier/model for transport AC is risky, even before considering the reduction in number of airframes.
Suspect we’ll end up sourcing something else down the line. The Embraer C-390 would be a good option. The Dutch have ordered it to replace their C-130Hs rather than new Hercs.

I had the opposite! Thought they’d fly over work based on the point-to-point published route. But missed me by about 30 miles :rofl:
