Bronze wings problem

Hi there, im attending my bronze wings training course at raf wood vale soon however the joining instructions are so unclear to how I actually get on the base. It says I need a fully completed 3822 form with a fully record of my service history. However I’ve not been given one and I’m not going to a parade night at my squadron before I go. It’s also says that I need and I’d card which I have but then goes on to tell me only CCF members need it. Does anyone know what I actually need to be allowed on the base?

I should also say, I believe the joining instructions are relatively old as it describes the two different bronze wings. The atc changed the bonze wings package to only one kind of wings badge

So you should have the myRAFAC App installed with a photo on your cadet portal profile so you can use the myRAFAC Digital ID.

A member of the AGS Staff should meet you and the other cadets at the main gate and then escorted you to wherever the AGS is.

You could email and ask the AGS OC at oc.631ags@rafac.mof.gov.uk

ID card (F7537D) is definitely CCF only. The app is a good idea - set it up in good time, because your staff have to approve your photo (agree it’s definitely you) before it will work, so set it up, add a photo, then ask them politely if they can look for the request in BADER and approve it.

Go to the main gate at RAF Woodvale and report to the guardroom, it’s on the right as you drive in. Show them your ID App and tell the guards that you’re going to the AGS/Gliding School and they will give you directions. If you have a car they will provide you with a temporary vehicle pass that must be returned on leaving. You should park on the main car park which is about 100 yards on your left. The AGS/Gliding School is not far. Take the first turning on the right, if you’re walking from the guardroom, and the building is about 100 yards on your right. They are well signed.

I would ask oc about getting there and to get into the base make sure you have myRafac installed and a profile picture is applied.
