heyy! i just got my blue shot and need to sew it on. i had to take my bronze fa badge off n resew it since the blue shot didnt fit. i triedd to follow the measurements but they didn’t really go well so i js did what looked right? is this okayy?
I believe you have one of the faulty brassards. Technically, sqns were supposed to report them and return them etc, but pragmatically just try to follow the placement guidance as closely as possible, which it seems you have done.
^ this, and politely ask your squadron if you can have a new brassard that’s the correct size.
A good indicator it’s the wrong size is if it’s got a grey elastic strap.

I thought that part of the facing usually folded around under itself when laid flat - they were not designed to be plastered with badges the way we now have them.
The key point visually with size was that the ‘Air Training Corps’ mudguard did not fit when correctly positioned, whereas that one does fit. It looks the right size to me.
Yeah that new positioning looks fine to me and I wonder if the YFA was in the incorrect position to begin with.
Nothing there indicating the brassard is too small.
